Terms of service
Effective October 13, 2026
These terms are the agreement between Grantory and the organization that uses Grantory. By creating an organization you accept them on its behalf and confirm you may do so.
1. The service
Grantory is a ledger for access decisions: who may have what, who approved it, who granted it, and when it ends. It does not connect to, change or monitor the systems you describe. Granting and removing access in those systems remains your responsibility.
2. Accounts
- Each person uses their own account. Shared logins are not allowed.
- You are responsible for the people you invite and for the roles you give them.
- MCP keys act as the person who created them. Keep them private and delete keys you no longer use.
3. Your data
Everything your organization puts into Grantory remains yours. You give us permission to store and process it only to run the service for you, as described in the privacy policy and the data processing addendum.
Do not put secrets into Grantory. Passwords, tokens and keys do not belong in requests, notes or instructions. See acceptable use.
4. Fees
- The price is $12 per person per month, as shown on the pricing page.
- A person is counted when they are active in your organization during the month. We bill the highest count in the month.
- Fees are billed monthly in advance, or yearly if you choose. Taxes are added where they apply.
- We will announce price changes at least 30 days before they apply to you.
5. Term and cancellation
The agreement runs month to month, or year to year on a yearly plan. You can cancel at any time and keep access until the end of the paid period. We may suspend an organization for unpaid fees after notice, or immediately for a serious breach of acceptable use.
6. Availability and changes
We work to keep Grantory available and will announce planned maintenance in advance where possible. We may improve or change features. We will not remove a core feature you pay for without notice.
7. Warranties
Grantory records the decisions your people make. It cannot guarantee those decisions are correct, or that access recorded as removed was actually removed. Apart from what these terms say, the service is provided as is.
8. Liability
Neither side is liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for lost profits or data that could have been prevented by reasonable backups. Each side's total liability under these terms is limited to the fees paid in the 12 months before the claim. These limits do not apply where the law does not allow them.
9. Confidentiality
Each side keeps the other's non-public information confidential and uses it only for this agreement.
10. Changes to these terms
We will post changes here and notify account owners at least 30 days before material changes take effect. Continuing to use the service after that means you accept them.
11. Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the place where Grantory is registered, and its courts have jurisdiction, unless mandatory law says otherwise.
